2019
HOW IT STARTED
Our approach to the initial design of The VDOM was centered around creating an ultra-humanistic experience, mimicking the natural physiology of the human body. We focused on developing a system that closely replicates the biological process of an erection by pushing fluid from one cavity, such as the testicles, to another cavity, the shaft. This hydraulic mechanism allowed us to design a product that transitions from flaccid to erect seamlessly, at the push of a button.
2020
PROTOTYPE 01
In the initial stages, the challenges were immense. We had to engineer a hydraulic system within a super small space while ensuring the product remained lightweight—under half a pound—yet robust enough to withstand any conditions. Balancing functionality with realism, we also developed ultra-humanistic skin that feels and looks just like real skin, achieving a prosthetic that not only performs exceptionally but also offers a true-to-life experience.
2022
PROTOTYPE 02
There's a special magic that makes The VDOM stand apart from any product on the market: its ability to not only go from flaccid to erect but also to be able to hold up a strong erection throughout all activities. That strength comes from a special 3-layer system that starts with the outer skin. With prototype 2 our focus was making sure the outer skin worked in unison with the other two layers of the shaft.
2023
BETA TEST
After several rounds of testing and making minor refinements based on user feedback, Beta Tester 1 was released to over 300 testers and received a 4.7 out of 5-star rating.
2024
THE VDOM 3.0
